MacHacha is a tool designed to split large files into smaller pieces, making it convenient for transferring data between computers, especially when the destination computer lacks an Internet connection or when the file transfer would be too time-consuming. What sets MacHacha apart from other similar tools is its ability to generate data packets that are compatible with various applications, even those designed for different operating systems. For example, if you use MacHacha to divide a 1GB file into two 512MB parts for transfer to another computer, the receiving computer's operating system - whether Windows, Mac, or Linux - is not an issue. MacHacha can create packets that work with applications like Hacha, WinSplit, FastSplit, Split&Concat, and HJSplit. To split a file using MacHacha, simply drag and drop the file onto the program's icon. You can then choose a fragmentation size from predefined options or enter a custom size in Megabytes. Additionally, MacHacha can create self-extracting files for Windows from a batch-processed file on Mac, with this option accessible through the program's preferences menu.
